Inside Out

This little guy looks a bit like his brothers.

Della had hernia surgery.  She is tough, and is doing great.  Only a few more weeks of laying low, and she'll be back in action.

Lake Superior was calm, and the weather was beautiful.  We took advantage of this by going kayaking with (almost) the whole gang.  Hannah had to work and Bjorn stayed on shore. Grandma B. came with us, and we all had a great time!

"I'm so excited to go to UPS tomorrow!" (tomorrow we start VBS week at church)

Kadi and Selah had their first experience with the climbing wall today. All the little ones did great (even Seth!), and some of them rang the bell at the top. Luke and Lars raced to the top, and Lars won. Fair and square. So fun to see some good brotherly competition!

Happy 4th birthday, sweet Selah! We are so thankful that you're a part of our family. A post-race party (grandma's half marathon) with friends and family was a fun way to celebrate.

Hans and Anders are playing baseball (coach-pitch and t-ball) this summer, and they're both loving it. 

Yes, those are socks and underwear on his head.  Yes, he's pretending he is a dog, and yes, Hans was dressed like this too.  Little boys are absolutely hilarious in a wonderful way. 

There is something so sweet about these little feet. 

My, oh my, is this little one cute.  

Bjorn Paul Bettendorf was born last night at 10:37 pm.  8 pounds, 8 ounces.  This little, miraculous bundle is such a blessing, and we are so thankful to have him as a part of our family!  Welcome to the world, Bjorn Paul!
