Inside Out

Grandma and Grandpa surprised us and took us out for pizza this afternoon.  It was a great (and delicious!) distraction, as we are all excited to hear from Mom and Dad about the arrival of a new brother! 

Sweet Kadi lost another tooth.

Happy belated birthday to Lars.  Birthday dates with Mom and Dad are always a special way to celebrate.  Who knew a trip to the grocery store and a berry smoothie could be so exciting?!  We love you, Lars!

The chickens somehow escaped from their coop this morning.

Yesterday we launched the rockets that the younger kids have been working on in science with Dad.

Chemistry is a beautiful thing.  The way it manifests the creativity and intelligence of our Creator is truly spectacular.  These colors were all derived from one cabbage leaf.  Depending on the acidity/alkalinity of the solution added to the cabbage leaf, the overall color of the solution changed.  This was a fascinating experiment!

I love little siblings.  Immensely.

Gooseberry falls is always beautiful in the springtime.  We took advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend, and enjoyed the afternoon together.
